Wireless

Wireless

Wireless technology.  Pervasive in today's new product developments.

Regardless of the market, whether it is medical, industrial, consumer or aerospace, new product solutions require a diverse set of wireless technologies.  A single product today must routinely operate with wireless peripherals, multiple wireless networks, and even wireless user interfaces.  Logic PD has, over many years of product development, gathered the experience and capabilities to address these needs.

Technology Integration

Wireless systems today require integration excellence on multiple levels. More often than not today's products have multiple radios that must work together without interfering with each other. Antennas must be packaged in extremely compact designs. Engineers must be able to integrate analog circuitry with digital complexity. And application software must integrate seamlessly with protocol firmware to define reliable communication links.

Low power solutions

Wireless technology is not just about ease of installation and the elimination of wires; it's about portability and mobility. Portable and mobile means battery power. But batteries are heavy and customer want light weight as well as green solutions. The answer is low power.  Logic PD has been implementing low power designs for portable and battery powered applications for over ten years.  We have implemented everything from fully over-molded active RFID solutions to solar powered network nodes to power-harvesting digital controls.  We team with power management leaders like Texas Instruments to provide state of the art solutions.

Chip-level or modular, drivers are key

Good hardware and antenna design are only part of the story in the world of digital radios.  Logic PD has developed and integrated custom and standard protocols across a wide array of operating systems from Windows to Linux and everything in between.
